Everything is Custom Made...

Have an idea for a cutting board?  Want a cutting board personalized for that special Chef?

All cutting boards seen here are made in our shop, using a combination of standard wood working techniques.  Boards can be simple, made of a single wood, have borders added, or even have images and text inlaid into the cutting board.  For example, the Circles and Dots, Om Shanti, and Kanjii - Peace cutting boards all have custom inlay.  Inlay is generally 1/4" thick, which means that you can sand the cutting board many, many times.

This cutting board was created using a logo supplied by the client:

Wood used in the cutting board is maple, walnut, padauk, and purpleheart.

This is a maple cutting board that has some custom inlaid initials, as well as a juice groove. 

Hendrik van Wyk of  Figaro's Gelateria spends a lot of time cutting nougat into the various sizes he sells.  He requested a custom cutting board with cutting guides laid directly into the cutting board.  The end result? Two cutting boards that helps him efficiently cut nougat into various sizes.
